Small-flowered forget-me-not is sporadically encountered in wet areas in the Greenbelt, mostly along the Boise River.  Its global distribution is often described as “interruptedly circumboreal”, including the northeastern United States and adjacent Canada, and along the Pacific Coast from northern California to British Columbia, east to the east base of the Cascade Mountains.  Whether the Idaho collections are disjunct natives or relatively recent introductions (i.e., non-native) is uncertain.
